I was just looking at the old pictures from the garden—I can’t believe how small everything was! I’ll post some new pictures this week: there’s been a lot of progress in the growth department, and we’ll be eating lettuce from our garden within the week! It’s been exciting, having our first garden. So far, we’ve learned not to plant the tomatoes too early, or you’ll have to cover them with a tarp every night (had to do it for almost two weeks), and we’ve also learned that the garden has to be watered every day, or… well, you get the picture.

Matt finished tilling the garden today, and we finally began planting! We planted garlic, sweet onions, and two types of lettuce. The strawberries and raspberries that we planted in November are doing great, and we’re looking forward to eating fresh from the garden!
