I spent the day playing with horses at my bosses house. Do I even need to say that it was awesome?

best day ever

On Saturday we did our wine tour on horseback, and it was the best day ever! The wine was good, and the horses were great : )

Saundra invited me over to visit with the horses–and we had a lot of fun! There are the two walker boy’s, Fancy Granite (Fancy) and Raven’s Triple Trouble (T); and the two trotter’s, Dandy and Shannon (brother and sister!). They each possess not only great looks, but great personalities as well. Saundra first rode Dandy, then Shannon, giving me a demonstration of the gaited horses (which I have zero experience with), and showing off some mountain trail competition moves–these guys win prizes for a reason!
Saundra and Bill have an ideal set-up; their home is gorgeous, and the layout of the barn, paddocks, and round-pen afford a great view no matter where you are on the property.
I can’t wait for the next visit!
